Skittles Event, 16th October 2009

After a few stumbling steps early on, the DDCS re-launch event picked up speed and ended up being a great night!

The turn out was encouraging and everyone seemed to have a good time.

What was good to see at the end of the night were the children, of all ages, playing together on the skittle alley without us parents getting in the way and making things awkward! It really makes events like this worthwhile and let's be honest is pretty much the point of the event in the first place!

We've got lots of plans for the future of the DDCS and we've got lots of energy to put those plans into action, but remember; this is YOUR society, run for you and if you come to our meetings BY you. We are always happy to see people coming to the meetings and voicing their opinions, concerns or sharing their ideas.

So when we post the dates of our next meeting, check your diary and pop along to see how we do things and have your say.
